Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. The place wasn't crowded, but it took a while for us to get our drinks. The drinks were good, but not too strong. My shrimp and grits were good also. My son said his chicken and waffles were mid, but he did finish them. Lol. Overall, I enjoyed myself. I may go back if I'm invited.
Today was my first time here. The food was ok, it just seems like you barely get food for the price you pay. At first, l ordered wings and waffles the wings are so tiny. You can put them in your hand and close it. The service was cool, l sent my wings back they were tiny and burnt. The drinks aren’t strong it’s like the saving the liquor. The hookah was the best thing there today.. The atmosphere was cool
Nice Restaurant style venue. Service was okay, but to be honest I didn't expect to walk into people twerking with their kids. Once they left the vibe got much better.
The building is huge so having the music so loud plus acoustics made it difficult to order. All together though me and my wife enjoyed their hookah it was better than most.
Drinks okay, food okay, but the perfect place to go and watch the game and I'm glad I came.
First time patronizing this business on Sunday. The food we ordered was delicious. The strawberry lemonade was awesome. My complaints are: the housekeeping(windows are dirty, maintenance objects in the way and need to be put away). Our bill for 2 people included a $18 automatic gratuity😡 especially since our waitress didn't provide $18 worth of service 😡🤬. That's equivalent to rewarding a child for bad behavior. The child misbehave but still get a toy. We're definitely not going back because of the automatic gratuity and shoddy service.
The 3 stars is for the food. It was VERY good, tasted fresh and was hot. I had the creole omelette, my daughter had the chicken and waffles, and I had the mimosa flight. The waitress was not attentive AT ALL we had to look for her several times and it took FOREVER for the mimosa flight even though the place was practically empty. My bill should’ve totaled $58.46 but the waitress handed me a bill for $76.64 and did not give me an itemized receipt. I didn’t make a big deal, I supported a black owned business but I wouldn’t return. Sucks cause the food is actually very good.
We went shortly after opening on a rainy Saturday. Place was basically empty when we arrived but half- full by our departure. Took approx 20-30 mins to receive menu items after ordering, however it was evident that every dish was freshly prepared. I ordered the blackened fish n grits and salmon bites. NEVA in my life have I heard of or have been served grits in the form of a pie slice...but the ish was a delicious twist! Lol. Nothing tasted reheated or like it had been sitting in a heated oven. Very fresh-Much appreciated. We had plenty chatter to fill our time. The drinks were surprisingly well-balanced with respectable sweetness levels. Kudos to the bar tender! The music was a vibe and our waiter, Noah, served us the best energy above all else. We had no complaints. Our visit was about 3hrs from start to finish between chatting, drinking, viewing menu, eating and then after meal chatter and picture taking. Total bill for 3 was approx $180 which included a couple drinks each, meals and appetizers. So check it out and don't go with anyone boring...you can't rush greatness! I've definitely added this place to my rotation.
I enjoyed the sever I’ve and the Environment. Secret was amazing, very tentative and thoroughly. She made sure we were okay at the right times. My only complaint is the menu prices. The French toast is $15 just for the toast a side would make it better. The Lamb chops meal should should also include potato and toast for the price as well. All and all my chicken and waffles were good.
Food is ALWAYS good, the BOUDIN BALLS, The Sassy(chicken sandwich), fish and grits, and the drinkks !! Bartender Austin will get you right everytime.
